Butler Hospital's Memory and Aging Program's Center for Advanced Diagnostics and Therapeutics in Alzheimer's Disease includes:

• A state-of-the-art computer network dedicated to advanced neuroimaging analysis. The network links Butler's brain imaging lab with the neuroimaging research facility at Brown University and to Rhode Island Hospital's Positron Emission Tomography Center.
• A functional outcomes laboratory, which allows Butler's researchers to measure the effectiveness of AD treatments on some of the more practical aspects of a patient's daily functioning, such as driving, route finding, shopping, bill paying, and other abilities needed for successful independent living.
• A three-bed infusion suite, for patients participating in clinical trials of new medications being studied at Butler Hospital.
