How long will I attend the program?

The program length is individualized to your needs but does require a minimum commitment of five days. We ask that you make attendance in the program a priority during this time.

What is a typical day like?

On a typical day, you will participate in two or three groups each morning and two groups in the afternoon, with a 10–15 minute break between each group. There is a one hour break for lunch at noon.

What should I bring with me?

  • Picture identification..
  • Insurance card.
  • List of current medications.
  • Name and contact information for current outpatient providers.
  • Lunch (or you may use the cafeteria services).
  • Many people find it helpful to bring a notebook.

What happens when I'm ready to leave the program?

During the CBT program, a treatment team works with you to determine the most helpful aftercare plan for your individual needs. Before leaving the program, you will receive a discharge instruction sheet, which includes follow-up plans, outpatient appointments, and any necessary prescriptions. The program also offers a free CBT skills aftercare group every Wednesday from 5 – 6:30 p.m. for patients who have completed the program and are seeking ongoing support.
