Biography

Lisa A. Uebelacker, PhD is an experienced research psychologist in the Psychosocial Research Department at Butler Hospital and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior for the Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Uebelacker’s research interests center around developing and testing innovative psychosocial methods for treating depression, including collaborative treatment for depression and co-morbid health conditions in primary care.

The Psychosocial Research Department conducts clinical treatment studies in the general area of mood disorders, with emphases in the areas of depression and suicidal behavior, bipolar disorder, postpartum depression and men’s experiences with depression.
