Dr. Mancebo received her PhD in clinical-school psychology from Hofstra University in 2002. She joined the Butler Hospital Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (ODD) Research Program in 2001 and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in 2003. She is currently program manager of the OCD and Anxiety Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program and an assistant professor of research in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Mancebo's main research interests are in the long-term outcomes of treatments for OCD and improving access to evidence-based care for OCD, anxiety disorders, and hoarding. Her research has focused on dissemination and implementation of behavioral therapies for OCD and anxiety disorders. Her work has been funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She has authored and co-authored publications on phenomenology of OCD across the lifespan, co-occurring disorders and outcome of treatments for OCD delivered in community settings.
