Eligibility Criteria Male or female between 50 and 89 years old with mild to moderate Alzheimer´s disease. Must have a study partner, who is willing to accompany at all study visits.  Participants must be taking stable doses of currently approved AD medications for at least 12 weeks.

Description

The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of IGIV,10% treatment on change in cognitive performance and functional activities in subjects with mild to moderate AD. Eligibility patients will receive an "infusion" of either "study drug" or "placebo". The infusions will be given every 2 weeks for a total of "36". Initially, the first 3 infusions are administered in the clinic and the subsequent infusions maybe administered in the patient's home by a visiting nurse.
