TRAVELLER Study

Written by Butler Hospital | December 8, 2025

What is the TRAVELLER Study?

This is a global, multi-center pre-screening study. This study does not involve any investigational medication, but it will assess participants’ potential suitability for a Roche interventional Alzheimer’s disease (AD) study based on cognitive testing and a blood test detecting plasma levels of a protein related to AD called pTau217. This pre-screening process is to support earlier and easier detection of people with early symptomatic AD. Study duration is expected to be a couple of hours over 1 or 2 days.

What is the purpose of the TRAVELLER Study?

The purpose of the TRAVELLER study is to identify people who are best suited to participate in one of Roche’s Alzheimer’s disease clinical studies.

This study also aims to engage with diverse communities to ensure we include all people living with Alzheimer’s disease, regardless of race, ethnicity, physical or mental ability, religion, and education or income level.
