Both programs are free of charge. You will receive up to $250 for completing study activities.
Who is eligible for the study?
Adults aged 55 and older who have chronic musculoskeletal pain and have reliable access to the internet.
Why are we doing this research?
We have received a grant from the National Institute of Aging to study ways to help adults with chronic musculoskeletal pain improve their sense of well-being and quality of life. Reports recently have shown that many older adults struggle with chronic musculoskeletal pain. We want to help these adults be as healthy as possible.
How does the research process work?
First, you will be asked to participate in an initial interview before enrolling in the study. This initial phone call will help us determine if our study is a good match for you.
If eligible, you will be invited to participate in the study.
How long will the research last?
The video-based courses last 6 weeks. There are two additional virtual interviews, 6 weeks and 12 weeks after the video-based courses have ended. In total, study participation lasts 18 weeks.
Do I have to pay for the programs?
No, the programs are free for study participants.
