Education Opportunities

Butler Hospital is the flagship teaching hospital in adult psychiatry at the The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. The hospital is the administrative home of the chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior as well as the General Psychiatry Residency Program at Brown University. Butler Hospital also provides valuable training to students from other disciplines including social work, nursing, occupational therapy, and pharmacy. The hospital supports a variety of continuing education programs on many topics in psychiatry and neurology.
