Your family’s involvement and others who play a significant role in your life, is encouraged. They can be very important to the success of your treatment and recovery. However, no contact with your family or others will be made without your signed consent.
It is not uncommon for people who struggle with substance use to have an underlying psychiatric illness, such as depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, or post traumatic stress disorder. The Alcohol and Drug Inpatient Treatment Unit at Butler is designed to meet both the needs of patients with significant active substance dependency and those who may also need help with other psychiatric illnesses.
