The Young Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed for adults ages 18–26 who are experiencing depression, anxiety, or other mood-related challenges that are affecting their daily lives. Whether you're struggling with work, school, relationships, or the transition into adulthood, this program provides support and practical tools to help you move forward.
You'll work through common concerns many young adults face, including stress, worry, identity exploration, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, values clarification, and unhelpful patterns of thinking or behavior.
Through a supportive group therapy environment, you'll learn skills to better manage your mental health, build resilience, and work toward your personal goals.
The program is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), helping you develop strategies you can use in everyday life.

This program is designed for young adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, or other mood-related challenges that are affecting their daily lives. It provides a safe, supportive environment where participants can connect with peers who are navigating similar experiences and learn skills to better manage their mental health.
You'll work with a dedicated team of mental health professionals who collaborate to support your progress throughout treatment. Depending on your needs, your care team may include a therapist, occupational therapy assistant, and psychiatrist.
The program meets Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:00–6:30 p.m. and typically lasts up to four weeks, giving you the opportunity to build skills, connect with peers, and make meaningful progress toward your goals.
On your first day, you'll arrive at 1:30 p.m. to complete registration and participate in an evaluation with a therapist before joining the group.
Each program day includes multiple group therapy sessions that focus on a variety of topics related to mental health and wellness.
Medication is not required to participate. If medication is part of your treatment plan, you'll continue to meet with a psychiatric provider as needed throughout the program.
After your first week, you'll meet individually with a therapist for a portion of one group session each week to review your progress and discuss any concerns.
