MIND Diet Brain-Healthy Bites: PB & J Smoothie

saraiva-lorranceThis MIND Diet-inspired recipe comes from Memory and Aging Program Outreach Coordinator Lulu Saraiva, and it'll take you back to childhood! Enjoy this PB & J smoothie, packed with brain-healthy berries, for breakfast.

 

 

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of frozen mixed berries

  • 1 banana

  • 1 tsp. of natural peanut butter

  • 1 cup of Almond Milk

  • Dash of cinnamon

Instructions: 

  1. Add mixed berries, banana, peanut butter, and milk to your blender.
  2. Blend until smooth consistency. Add more almond milk if it becomes chunky.
  3. Pour in cup, add a dash of cinnamon on the top and enjoy!
