Seeking to Improve Mental and Physical Wellbeing? Sometimes Feel Down or Hard on Yourself? Consider our Women’s Wellbeing Study!

What does the study involve?

Participation in the Yoga-Based Healing Study would involve:

  • Completing surveys and interviews across 2 visits that can be conducted virtually or in-person in Providence, RI
  • Participation in 12 weeks of either
    • A yoga-based healing program OR
    • A women’s wellbeing program

The yoga-based healing program involves training in essential yoga and meditation practices and techniques to cultivate a greater sense of inner freedom, peace, and self-acceptance. No Experience Required – Beginners Warmly Welcomed!

The women’s wellbeing program involves learning about several health- and wellbeing-related topics that are important for your physical and mental health.

Both programs will be offered in-person in Providence, RI, and were co-developed by Care New England Researchers with women from communities in RI and surrounding states.

Who can participate?

We are looking for women who are:

  • Aged 18-65
  • Feeling stressed or down
  • Seeking new ways to work with stress

Will I be compensated for participating?

Participants can earn up to $50 in gift cards, contingent on study eligibility, enrollment, and participation/completion of study assessments. They will receive treatment for free.
